    the market has this wrong

that new 5S is a sweet phone. once people have the new ios7 running on their phones they will want to upgrade. the 5S is going to be the HOT gaming platform. the fingerprint scanner will be part of a whole new mobile commerce strategy within the next year. new trade-in program will also make it cheap to trade-in phones. the only thing missing is an international strategy. i predict that apple will drop the price on the 5C at the beginning of next year and launch it with a China Mobile deal. that way they get the profits from the subsidized markets at launch and then one quarter later they create a powerful China and developing country strategy. since the iphone 6 is just 6 months away the current phones and prices are temporary. but apple cant say that because it would hurt sales in this quarter

    • This is a GREAT opportunity for appl to buy back more stock at lower prices. Let the panic sellers, traders and market manipulators sell. AAPL buying shares will increase EPS, FCF and help them control the price better in the long run. Ignore these ANALysts. Follow the Free cash flow (FCF)

    • WS is displaying low intelligence and vision at the moment regarding Apple.
      1) iPhone 5c will be huge ( you can mark my words on this ) !
Why? Every parent in every family will buy this for each of their kids. For just $99 dollars each kid will have their cool personalized mobile device- I'm already considering one each of my three kids.
      2) iPhone 5c will be huge for the intending emerging markets.
      3) iPhone 5s will be huge. The custom finger print user security is the platform Apple needs for their Near-Field Communications technology and integration into mobil e-transactions. Why is WS not seeing this baffles me!?? This is the essential component of the next revolution: MOBILE NFC TRANSACTIONS! All will funnel through the iTunes model. Apple currently has 200 MILLION iTune accounts! Hello, WS? Is your collective brain atrophied???! This is JUST the beginning. More Gov, FBI, NSA contracts..Anything where secure transactions need to be upheld and guarded. What is wrong with WS? These guys are supposed to be smart and aware? Never have witnessed such Lazy thinking in my life!

    • I think the it's falling because of the disappointment at the 5c, which I think is a joke in terms of marketing as well as strategy.

    • If what u are saying is true, then market got it right. price cut and china mobile next year? then it's right to drop this stock now. faster processor and better security? that's the only upgrade? gaming? yeah, I spent $300 for an iphone so I can look at cool graphics in a video game. You don't understand stocks and how they are priced. I suggest you get out while you can. Apple was a massive growth stock. now it's a value stock. basicaly, it's now another microsoft...nothing but upgrades to the same product line.
Cook promised awesome stuff in the works for THIS year and NEXT. that was it? I'm gonna short it every time they do a launch then.

      Sentiment: Strong Sell

    • I agree with you. I just hate that they have to wait 3 months to do the right thing. It's just stupid unless they just couldn't build fast to enough. Again TC is supposed to be supply chain GURU. I still am not convinced of that at all. He still needs marketing skills he doesn't have.

    • the market also had the initial 4s very wrong as well....

    • 5s sales will beat any expectations..... the tech reviews for the phone are great and the pent up demand for a new Iphone is huge....
