Wasn't Apple seeking billions? Plus pulling samsung phones off the shelves? Big loss for Apple

No royalties either? Might lose 5% Monday

    • Disagree that Apple will go down on Monday. They were seeking $2.2 billion, but any lawyer would do, they shot for moon and came down with a star, $120 million minus the $158k that was awarded to Samsung. The jury more than likely assessed what the total damage was from the infringements at $120 million. Apple won and the stock should be up on Monday, unless for some odd reason this has already been baked into the share price which I don't believe it has been.

    • Why is apple going to lose 5%? Is your hypothesis Apple investors were banking on a large settlement from this court case. Really?

      • Because the big picture is samsung can still sell in the us and frankly might as well keep stealing patents, because the billions they made off of them only cost them a pittance aapl is gonna be hurting Monday but this market was rigged from the run up last week, that's why I bought puts Friday lol, love how the verdict came out just after after hours trading ceased, gotta love Wall Street , can't beat em, just gotta try and figure their next move and bet on it, stocks are a freaking joke
