Oracle looks expensive on paper, BUT, in my "paper trade" portfolio, I have a good portion in Oracle (oh, Apple too).
Don't really understand what happened with ORCL today. They are blaming this on Asia, but current problems in Asia shouldn't affect future growth. I don't understand it. Anyway, my point is, I sold my holding in ATHM, and loaded up on Oracle.
Still think AAPL is the best value around. Apple will make a profit, and the stock value will come around to match the value of the company. Oracle, will grow, grow, grow. I have ORCL for the same reason I have IBM.
(kstar, any margin calls on the way with AAPL still dropping?)
