the mercurial showman is at it again.
remember '96 when Larry was talking up a takeover. "...all Steve has to do is say the word. I can get the money in a week."
and Steve said something to the effect of : I'm very happy at NeXT & PIXR.
or "I'll stay as long as Gil wants me to"
I personally see the "email prank" as a turning point.
I think it indicates that Steve ( and Larry ) have finished cleaning up the past and are now looking to the future.
