BioCryst Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (BCRX) today announced that Jon Stonehouse, President and Chief Executive Officer of BioCryst is scheduled to present and provide a corporate summary and update regarding the Company at the 31st annual J.P. Morgan Healthcare Conference in San Francisco on Thursday, January 10, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. Pacific Time.
Here I thought their focus was on the "Hostess" management style... Stoney gave himself and the other henchmen a retention bonus while showing their people the door... like he was going somwhere????...GMAFB
I really can't imagine what they can say at this JPM conference.
5191 .. "best in class" chimp tested and USDA approved?
4161.. half hearted attempt to synthesize this drug.. we have a BETTER one a year behind this one.
P .. we hope we get an order some day. . from some where.. from some one.
Gout.. we told our investors ALL year we had a deal.. and we did! A merger that fell apart.
Yellow fever.. another govt. program. YGbFKM.
Every indication is that a weak gout deal with $30-$40M up front is what they have going. #$%$ are they going to do with a Hep-C drug at this point? They're looking at a very! weak B/S. Just take the next train to Clarksville.
Jon Stonehouse, President and Chief Executive Officer of BioCryst stated plainly on November 7th the following regarding Peramivir and it's failed trials in the U.S.
"it is unlikely that Peramivir development for US registration will continue.”
Thus.. it will never be approved. Stupid? Yes. True? Yes. Why? #$%$ knows.
There were NO trials completed successfully in the U.S. for Peramivir. None.
Why wasn't BCRX invited by JPM last year when they had "more" to say especially with the hype on hep c (pre patent gate and FDA gate). BCRX was in the neighborhood during this time but not invited to the microphones.
Now they are invited (and they accepted, didn't have to) and they have less to discuss.
So Stoney says: that darn FDA has all our drugs, those darn shorts have all our money and the darn unemployment line has all our people but #$%$ I'm doing just fine... that's pretty much a wrap... any questions...
Well said Yui..
This is exactly what I've come to understand. . and stated:
For these people, it's not about compassion. It's about control. It's conflicted selfishness. Let's TAKE from you.. and give to our cause/our passion. Why not just give yourself?? Cut out the govt.?
Oh.. wait. That won't work. No OP money w/o the govt. to confiscate it.
"Liberals believe in "helping" others, but they believe it's right to take from others and have the government redistribute it instead. That's not compassion, that's stealing, that's tyranny. Nothing good comes from confiscation. A good act is good because people willingly and voluntarily participate. I believe in compassion, I believe in helping those who are down on their luck, I believe in charity (not forced redistribution). The kind of goodwill you believe in is not truly good because your intentions are rooted in the envy of the successful.
Liberalism is centered around government control, believing that the government can create a perfect utopian society"
