The technical indicators rapidly turned positive and that may have caught some shorts off guard. There may be some shorts that may have tried to influence the market but they're being offset by the buyers. Tomorrow may be the big day when many shorts give up an cover.
I've seen a similar pattern before in other stocks that had high short interest. The only element missing is the message board postings calling this stock a dog.
