Lets take a look, so we have rising oil prices, lowering heavy Cad spread, increasing net backs, rising production, increasing early well production rates, and enough sites to drill for years, throw in increasing distributions, a high yield, and cap spend that is balance with income. So where in heck does Mr. Market get the idea that stock price should be declining??
this will turn around, and big time. the potential is worth waiting for, and leverage with options on any pull back.
Because the WTI Canada differential is not improving and there is still no clear method going forward to get heavy Canada oil out of he country. Keystone is treading water and the pipeline to the Pacific facing issues from both BC government and the Indian Bands.
BTE certainly has a good capex budget but the payout is not increasing. Think you are wrong there. Also FWIW the major oil companies are all paying something in the 5% area. BTE has simply pulled back along with the market as a whole. Remember Q1 was not good at all. Q2 was in line with projections but lots of questions about production increases. If those are answered this quarter that we move higher. Personally I am happy getting more shares when I reinvest.
