if you run the AACR conference then i believe you since allowing a company to present a laast minute, late breaking abstract on phase 2 data doesn't not happen often. you think results are good? you bet they are.
here is the AACR policy regarding late breaking abstracts:
Late-breaking abstract submissions are no longer being accepted for the AACR Annual Meeting 2012. The late-breaking abstract submission deadline was Thursday, January 26, at 2:00 p.m. US Eastern Time. A special subcommittee of the Program Committee will evaluate the merit of late-breaking abstracts. Only those abstracts that are deemed to be of high scientific priority will be accepted.
Exactly. No Watergate-style break-in is needed here. The fact that the late-breaking presentation IS HAPPENING is significant confirmation about what we are about to hear next month, and the shorts have not done their homework here. Greed has led to complacency, and this is not good for them. It could turn out to be great for the longs, though, if more details about the detail come out before the meeting while there are upwards of 7 million shares short.
