Can't be authenticated of course, but I found this on a BLOG. The author is " Debbie " refering to her husband undergoing treatment.
"My husband is in the trial for TH-302 right now. His tumors have shrunk drastically as the doctor has said. We go to Mayo in Rochester, MN but will be switching to Froedtert in Milwaukee. He had one tumor that was 3.5 and the last scan showed it being at 1.1. He has another scan in two weeks. Hope to see even better results. He finishes the trial tomorrow and then he will go on maintenance probably until he cannot tolerate the drug or until the tumors start to grow again. Our doctor said he has responded better than any patient they have in the trial at Mayo and is very happy with the results. The study includes doxorubicin and then TH-302. The doxorubicin will be dropped in the maintenance phase. The trial is in phase 3 right now. Probably another 3 years out until it is approved but as long as the drug is working they have to continue to give it to him."
