I believe Cadx is hitting another short term metric, and that is $ 2million in sales per week. Without any growth that would mean $24 million in the first quarter. I believe the message is finally getting through to the anesthesiologist and CRNA's that you can use less opioids with Ofirmev. We will hit break even next year and show a profit in the 4th quarter of 2013.
Apparently Offirmev costs the hospital $11. per Gram yet a Tylenol pill costs cents; obviously in the hospital there are many patients not taking oral medications and this is where Offirmev comes in. As a CRNA I see the great results of Iv Offirmev and can attest to popularity of many surgeons.
Well nice day today---seems destined to attack the magical $5.00!
On another note my spouse had spinal surgery (neck) yesterday. They put her on opoid pain meds. I asked the nurse about use of our illustrious IV aceto post-surgery there (big hospital)---she didn;t even know what it was!
I guess CADX has more market penetration to work on! LOL!
