CADX is up 28% since Sept 3rd, just 2 weeks ago. Do you think that this rate will slow considerably or even retract a bit in the coming weeks? What will the stock price be if we beat the street this quarter and no patent decision has been made?
If they get Canadian approval early fourth quarter, that may may push total sales to $135 million or better for the year. That is considered break even for the company. I believe there is a 10% chance they can reach $135 without Canada. I believe the stock should be low teens late fourth or early first quarter 2014. I believe next year will be a breakout year for Cadence. It is still a potential buyout, because this drug gets patients out of the hospital a lot quicker. Opiates have so many side effects, and any hospital not willing to use it will open up the risk of lawsuits when the public gets wind of the benefits of Ofirmev versus opiates.
Fundamentals are no change: great product, sales going up, still waiting for Canadian start. Technical ( chart ) indicators: very bullish going above 20, 50, 200 days MA, but hitting strong resistance at 6.50 ( previous support ). If able to break 6.50 will go to next resistance 7.25. Need bigger volumes on up days. Court decision will be D-day. Negative court verdict is the only shorts left over bet. I day trade and took some money off the table ( in at 5.50, out at 6.40 ). GLA
My expectation is this should rise another buck a share at least heading into reporting and then eventually we get the quarterlies and unless we surprise the forces that be may actually repeat the process ya have seen the last three months again? They are creating a range to make money. They drove it down over nothing fast so they can do it in reverse!
The patent decision if as expected, is positive, will play into the next round up I imagine. Thats the way I am looking at it.
I agree. Plus, the short interest is increasing. Looking at this morning just setting up for another day where the stock trades within a 5% range. However, option volumes are also picking up. Hope you're right. I'm all in.
