BJ, Point taken on Christ's ethnicity. I doubt he was Caucasian. As to Presidents day that is a relatively new thing. We used to celebrate both. We are the same age. My life experience has been diverse to say the least. I have survived being bounced around from one home to another since I was 13 which lead me to go to 11 different NYC public schools in 12 years. I have been very poor, addicted to hard drugs, incarcerated, and all that before I was 24. Since then I have become a successful business owner moved to California, been married 18 years stayed straight, and read voraciously non fiction and business books. If your comments about MLK were misunderstood by me to mean you thought he only got a holiday cause he is black then I guess I missed something. If his personal life is such a big issue then we need to apply that standard today to all.
As to your statement "The most affected segments of society will be those who rely on government to support" seemed to be aimed at your African American neighbors with the statement "They are unprepared for what is being setup in America. The extermination of government subsidized welfare.". When the reality is Corporate America receives 10X the welfare the underclass in America does. So how does that play into your first statement about "most affected segments" Do you think Corp. America is in for trouble as our Govt. changes its approach and begins to end welfare for Corps.? Or did you just mean to focus on the poor in this country and the cutback of Social welfare ( the smallest part of welfare ).?
