EXEL is my favorite stock and it is now time to buy and hold for a few years. I have visited the company in the Bay area several times and each time brought a doctor with me. One time I was joined in company by 3 oncology doctors. They said that they have several holy grails. Their pipeline, clinicals are outstanding. They are noted to have the best medical researchers anywhere. Read their business summary, support, backers and financials.
too much debt. GL
Sony, These are old posts. From notifications I noticed that a person brought them up. DNDN went to over 50. EXEL finally got approval for their drug and has ongoing research. KERX is up around 800% this year - over 100% in the last two days.
so, what went wrong?
DNDN is $6.23 How is that up 700%,when it's down.
The reason why I am bringing this OT just to this board is that this is a very serious way to make a lot of money. Amgen is up over 10,000 percent since it went public. Several stocks that I had mentioned earlier this year, like DNDN are worth 10 or times now. Not one stock that I had mentioned is up less than 700% percent this year. You will never make this kind of money with SLW, HL, etc. Sorry guys, but you just won't. Bios are also great in times when all the markets are falling. This is a safe haven. Many bios have little value, but the ones that I have mentioned have made large gains. EXEL is best of breed. Instead of putting 100% of your money in pms, put 5% in quality bios. I spent my life working in two areas before I retired. PMs from 79 to 81 and then bio M&A for 26 years. I mentioned TCK at 2.50 and ASH under 6. These were great plays also, but EXEL will blow all by other picks out the door.
TCK at 2.50, now 33.90 (14x) and ASH <6, now 39 (6x) Nice!, wish I had seen your recomendations.
Greg I appreciate you sharing this information with us and I value your DD. I have some dry powder and I will buy some EXEL. Do you think it is also the right time to buy KERX?
Thanks! Fred
Newscentral-
Can you elaborate a little more about exel before I due my dd, if you dont mind.
Thanks for the suggestions about Exel. Will take a look. I invested in Amgen some 15 years ago when it was bringing out the blockbuster drugs that it became famous for but unfortunately sold too soon afetr it doubled. Live and learn.
