    Can SLW reach $30 ?

I think so . The rise to $20 /oz. was the OLD barrier , and 'top' to silver .

How quickly did we see $21 / oz. after that ? Not to mention $22 , and $23 -- which didn't hold up . BUT --

... today is a new day . SLW , I think is in a great position -- we all know : 0 = production costs ; and their base gives them tax advantage -- outside the USA .

I got in & out previously , but could not get in SLW this go -round .This price is no "dip " for SLW , really -- it is the top ; 52 week high just seen ; and above most price targets . But -- I really think I can
    see $30 coming next .

    The question -- how much do I invest /risk on this assumption ? Better % - wise , I think than HL --- where can that go from $6.42 ?? $7 ? or $7.25 ?

    Anybody got some advice ?

GLTA - I think the PMs continue to rise -- jobs UP or DOWN - dollar is down , and ( I don't know why ) 'fear of inflation' is the chant to be heard throughout CNBC.

Thanks in advance for any opinions .

    Joe B.

    • If hyperinflation is coming, having silver won't help much. It'll just make you a target. Lead's the better metal... with guns to shoot it.

    • Yes, and much, much more. It will remain volitile, but this stock is a winner.

    • Nothing fundamental has changed. Currency wars will continue. The Fed will create $s out of electrons. "Controlled" inflation will persist as official policy.

Given these conditions, the price of commodities, including the pms, will rise. I think $30 is a reasonable target during the next year.

How much you want to invest is dependent on your comfort level. At this moment I have approx. 30% of my money in SLW and an additional 3% in a speculative junior gold miner. Approximately a third of my funds are in a 401k where I don't have the opportunity to invest in individual equities. So out of my funds that are discretionary, I have about half in pms.
