For those who have been thinking the same, watch us do the Egyptians one better when things go from bad to unbelievably bad.
I just sit here polishing my gun....
"I'm counting all firearms, including military trophy guns from all wars including WWII with no records, muzzle loaders, muskets, cap & ball pistols, and antique firearms going all the way back to the 1777."
I think I understand why our numbers don't jive. The 11 Million I mentioned, were the private citizens who would have a weapon to protect themselves. You are counting military, police etc, they will be on the 'other side' when Marshal Law is declared. Once again, thanks for the links!
I don't think so.
I'm counting all firearms, including military trophy guns from all wars including WWII with no records, muzzle loaders, muskets, cap & ball pistols, and antique firearms going all the way back to the 1777. (BTW - Muzzle loaders, cap & ball pistols, & flint lock weapons are not process through NICs)
The Springfield Arsenal was founded in 1777 in Springfield, Mass. Springfield Arsenal made firearms all the way to 1968.
My numbers are probably good IMO. And if you count the small arms the U.S military, state national guards, along with U.S law enforcement agencies in the U.S. My numbers are real good.
But there is no real accurate count of firearms in the U.S., current estimates are over 300 million in private ownership.
You're right about it happening to us, but I believe its closer than the date you mentioned.
I say its either this year, or next.
And I also agree about what you're polishing, thank god for the NRA!
I remember the posts of all the guns that some of the traders here held, but I forget what you had.
I've got a Glock 19, a fully automatic Sten Gun (WW II era) and a sawed-off shotgun (12 gauge). They're all legal, as a matter of fact I found the shotgun at my then girlfriends place, the previous owner was the town Sheriff, who left it behind. So not only was it a freebie, it has a bit of history as well. I had to pay a $200 ATF Tax to own the Sten, but it was well worth it, as its way faster than I thought. A friend has a suppressed M-11, and his dad has a 50 Cal Machine Gun. I'm not going to be arrogant and say "Bring'em On" like Dubya did, but Eleven Million Guns can't be all wrong!
The inner cities will go up in flames. I do not know why but they burn their own house down. The suburbe will hunker down as in a fortress. Out on the farms it will be almost life as usual. Of course the gated communities will be a favorite target of inner city thugs of roving gangs. Both political parties will be put out to pasture.
total poppycock. Is it really that bad here? Really? They are starving over there. They are uneducated, have no jobs and no hope.
If you are starving here you would walk to a homeless shelter and get fed...or walk to a garbage can and eat all you want. You could take a manual job and make min wage. You could get an education for free through high school. We have clean water and air. Big screen tv's, paved roads, cell phones, internet, Star Bucks. Is it really that bad here? Really?
Some of you should travel. Get on a plane and go to other countries. As bad as it is here, I have literally kissed the ground when I returned from some parts of the world.
I'm sure this is not what you get rich quick SLW guys want to hear, but its the truth.
Which is why I don't listen to guys like YDM. I left here in the teens when he entered. The easy money in this was investing back at $4. Some of you have entered in the 30's and 40's and think this will go to $200. Ain't gonna happen. And if it does, you won't like it. I'd rather be holding physical in that scenario
