No. Things are totally different today. The people of the 20s were used to hard work. Most had started work as young children. There were strong fsmilies. The young people today could not do a hard days physical labor. Woman's lib a pawn of the CIA has destroyed the family. David Koch is the new ruler.
there wont be anything left and if there was , what will they do with it Barter with only the few that have done the same. The rest , the majority, perish? slay the thought even you got to think out the box of commodities
well, let me think. If the dollar collapes , where does that leave eveybody , except those that have bars ,coins and jewellry left, totally helpless and broke. How will the rest of us feel ? Where will we go safely? Think of all the consequences We had better pray this is all conjecture .Be careful what you wish for just has more meaning Just thinking out loud.
You will need to be stocked - food, water, medicines, guns, things to trade for; nobody will want from you gold or silver - no use. You need land to grow your own food. The big cities will be fXXXXd.
I often feel the same way you do legal.
My question to this line of thought is so what then? What happens if the dollar "collapses"? What will countries buy a barrel of oil with if the dollar "collapses"? What will the men in the armed forces be getting paid with? Silver and Gold coins?
What would a collapsed dollar world look like? Do you see yourself living in that world? If so how?
Humans, especially in the United States, have a knack for making it through the toughest of times. Look at what our ancestors went through to build this country. Do you really believe we the people are just going to sit by and watch our country go to hell in a hand basket? Desperate times call for desperate measures.
Eventually a political decision will be made concerning our currency. Until it all plays out, yes hard assets and oil will be King, and the best store of value.
I wouldn't count the good old USA out just yet. Especially when Uncle Warren has an "itchy trigger finger" ;-)
I honestly wont be too shocked. Neither will many of the posters on this board. I guess the best thing about following SLW and POS and the USD is that we who are in cities will be able to get out of the cities before the crap hits the fan. We will know exactly when to bail. Exciting stuff though! I think its amazing to live in a time that we will have a shift in empires and not only that, but also being prepared as well. In the meantime, lets all have fun with our investments!
