It seems Mountian-West Resources is reporting that Barrick needs to explain thier position on the Pascua Lama legal issues in Chile. MWR is asking Barrick to provide claims to Mina Pascua (the ore body on the Chile side of Pascua Lama). Mountain-West filed in Sedar a report that shows multiple legal/expert documents from Chile that as of Jan 11/2011 Barrick lost title to Mina Pascua and ABX only holds non metallic claim making it's Pascua Lama project illegal.
If this turns out true and I feel we will find out real soon, SLW will be hit pretty hard. Do some DD on this and let me know what you guys think.
HEY VOODOO U MORON WHAT ARE U PASSING OUT FALSE RUMOURS F0OR ,SHORTY,IT SAYS RIGHT IN THE LINK YOU POSTED ,HOPING NO ONE WOULD REAd them that it does b=not effect our clain !!!
You putz!!! ignore 4 you doodoo!!!
Try reading it again. The docs MWR have, show Mina Pascua titles are NOT Barracks. Mina Pascua represent 75% or more of the ore from Pascua Lama.
If you're not happy with the info, blame Barrick for not informing us all with what's going on in Chile with it's Pascua Lama lawsuit. Call MWR and ask them the story, don't blame me.
But I guess your not reading this since you've put me on ignore. Oh well. lol
I guess there would be no problem for SLW as long as barrick doesn't get into any legal turmoil over this Pascua Lama mess. You know saying you own something to raise cash when you know own nothing.
One other thing, Mountian-West it seems is trying to clear up years of misinformation from Barrick it. When Barrick says the lawsuit doesn't affect the ore and MWR is saying the lawsuit includes all the ore, then someone is not telling the truth.
I really don't think MWR would be putting out a news release unless they know for sure thay are right.
Had a cousin who designed an athletic shoe that Nike stole the design for. Actually went to the Supreme Court and my cousin won.
The award was nominal, meaning small compared to profits from the sale of that design, and the lawyers ate most of it.
Smartest thing for Mr. Jorgeemnatzhbcvx to do is make an offer to settle, or die penniless.
In the meantime, SLW has no worries, as its silver flows will be idemnified other mines if the particular mine in question is taken over by Eskimos.
Some of us on here are not talking to try and force a short. I'm here to get info and see what others think. It stands to reason MWR would benefit in some way with these latest Pascua Lama events.
What are you talking about? I'm just here addressing the claims MWR provided in it's Sedar filing which show Barrick doesnt legally hold metallic titles to Mina Pascua which is the property claim that holds all the ore.
Like said don't shoot the messenger take a look at all the legal docs from MWR on the subject.
SLW will not be hit at all even if all the claims are true.(1) ABX must make up the difference in silver stream from their other mines if there is a problem with streaming from PL.
(1) I have previously addressed these claims and do not care to rehash as it really doesn't matter.
We've been through this drivel before. Somebody is arguing they ought to get a toll to pass through land on the way to a mine which has product SLW receives, because they were illiterate and didn't understand the deal they'd made for a parcel of land now mined upon.
The owners of the mine should, without commenting on the legality of the claimants nuisance cause of action, toss a couple million at him and have him walk away.
Nice try. I would have liked to have picked up some cheap shares, but not from cheap shots.
Sorry you have it wrong. This info is new as of Jan 11, 2011 the claims to the ore body on the chile side of pascua lama are no longer Barrick.
Please read the info from the links I provided. The legal issue is 100% about Barrick claims being invalid. Meaning no claims to the ore. Meaning the end of Mina Pascua for barrick. Meaning no silver for SLW. No joke, read for yourself, it all legal docs out of chile and submitted to sedar by MWR.
