at coin shop today. I bought more dimes instead. Better value IMO.
Why would you think dimes are better deals than silver eagles? Silver Eagles are almost 100 percent pure silver. Dimes are not. I do agree that they are a good investment as I do have dimes and quarters but better than Silver Eagles? Id like to hear another side on that discussion. I would have naturally thought the opposite.
The old non-collectable coins will be much easier to barter with as the silver content is known and the wear on them make them authentic. I see counterfitters of pure silver coins are already at work. >22 shells are the best barter bargain..
I recently panned a nice little sum of gold from a river in Nevada after soon heavy rain. Christmas in the early Spring, but I ended up with bronchitis.
Hey Greg - that must have been fun, not good that you got sick though. Are your programs telling you anything significant regarding POS or SLW?
What is the premium on the dimes and have they been circulated meaning that they lose weight? Thanks.
Last week I paid $2.65 per dime. Today $2.80 per dime. They are mostly circulated with some proof coins mixed in. GL
