Last qtr. SLW didnt sell all the silver they obtained . They do get some gold too. I came up with from 45 to 55 cents per share in the 1st qtr. They will most likely have to pay more than the $3.90 per oz. now though. The $3.90 was what it cost the miners to extract the silver back then and I believe its in the $6 range now. Hopefully with the price of silver down they can have a new deal or two plus an increased dividend for the qtr. report.
Everyone rooting for the price of silver to go down so that deals will come pouring in are hoping against hope. They will need to AQUIRE. When they did the $4 oz deals, silver may have been as low as base $6 oz. Everyone is onto this silver thing. IF silver goes back to $30, do yuo think they get $4oz? They may have to go to a straight up funding source with partial owbership in developments. Possible use of stock as partnership in future endeavors. My fear is $4oz ain't gonna cut it, any deal with more given will throw all other deals into possible disarray or renegoatiation. JMO...They have market cap and cash to fund. They just need to do so wisely and in projects that will yield results. Just like any other R&D dept would have to do.
