    I'm surprised

There's been no commentary on the bogus picture being portrayed with the unemployment numbers today.

I watched this morning while doing my workout and on Squawk Box they were talking about all the large firms seriously reducing their work forces in the near future and it certainly didn't paint a very rosy picture going forward.

Spell casting by the media and government is their attempt to tie a knot in your mind. You must simultaneously believe two contending things to be true and be convinced of both. Thus they have you in a state of mind that would stifle any action based on discontent or reprisal.

    Elegantly evil isn't it?

    • Less workers is more profit. Just like the 1930's more productivity from less workers is more profit. Your right this is the same news cycle as 2008, classic election year numbers games. The Big 4 Pravada media machines are cranked up to sell ad time. Better be looking at media for election cycle profits? Who Do You Like? DIS, GE, TWX, NWS.........or do you like Ad Agencies?

    • Surely that is not a revelation

    • Perfectly said.

I noticed the government is in full on PR mode to get Obama reelected. Yahoo and several other news outlets have new articles everyday about how great things are starting to look.

I don't understand how anyone can look at the economy over the past 4-5 years and tell me it's changing. But then again, I still have people telling me precious metals are about to crash.

ok. put your head in the sand and everything will be ok.

    • Moses - my man, you have captured the cube every participant finds themselves encased in. most don't know they are contained, and none break out. best case scenario - the lord returns.
