It is happening with all major equities. It is the hedge funds and their computers. The retail long term investor is gone and the funds take profits each and every day a good company gets a nice bounce. I beleive that they even have company 401k money timed so that when the company buys each month causing a nice lift, the computers take that money before it has a chance to earn buck for the employees. I believe it is going to stay that way and most companies are being held in a narrow range regardless of the news or performance. Until the little guy gets confidence he will keep his cash under his mattress. Government help is not there. Nothing will change.
