    The market's Craaaaaaaaaaaaaaassssssssshhhhhhhhhhhhiiiiiiiiiiiiingggggggggggg

“…Let's get free of oil dependence 40 years overdue. A hybrid in every garage. An oil line down from our buddies in Canada. You know way up north.

Let's put solar panel heating in every home with a sun exposure and take some pressure off the grid. Now there's a subsidy worth having, until we get to economies of scale. There's a place where govt can help if they vet the firms competently, albeit a big if. …?”

Without dealing with the rest of what you’ve written, that statement places you in the nether world of complete ignorance. EVERY ONE of these government funded solar project either has gone broke, or is on the verge of doing so, at taxpayers’ expense.

As for hybrids, those are for the tree huggers, and those that don’t mind being squashed by a 10 wheeler, or a 90’s style SUV.

Isn’t the country broke enough for you? Or are you opining for the day when hyperinflation finally forces the issue of returning to honest money by wishing for even more of the stupid, or is it the deliberately destructive, spending of the political elite? While some benefit under a hyperinflationary environment, vast numbers of your countrymen will not, and many could suffer starvation, not to mention the snowballing effect worldwide. The upshot of all of that could well be widespread civil disorder in a world where US drones could be turned against the people that paid their taxes to develop them.

If you would just calm down and consider that there may be developments in the pipeline (non-solar, by the way) that would negate the reliance on Middle East oil and send the whole lot of them back to either becoming camel drivers or accepting civilized behavior. None of this requires nukes, and would force the issue of bringing the military home as unneeded horrendous expenses that not even the military industrial complex could oppose. The return to honest money would also be guaranteed since all of this funny counterfeit money has arisen out of militarism. Governments would automatically lose their relevance and power. People would therefore be in a position to demand, or practice civil disobedience on the issue of what amounts to counterfeit “legal” tender.
