    Unemployment rate and retirees

Using your obviously Keynesian polluted ideology, that quite frankly has been shown not to work, both now and in the 1930s, how much more government largesse and money borrowing to perpetuate this same ol' same ol' ad infinitum strategy would you be willing to endorse?

Some of us recognize that at some point the order to turn hard about must come. The longer we await such a command means that the likelihood that the ship will founder rises and does so exponentially.

    QE to infinity and beyond.

    • Spot on Moses. I am for facing the music right now as it will never get easier. Our politicians should spend no more than tax revenue, in fact a little less and start paying down the debt. Because politicians have mismanaged the ship of state over the last 30 years, we have many programs we cannot afford and the folks on the receiving end will complain, probably demonstrate and riot when cut off.

My thought's are if Mr. Bohener will work a short term compromise on the debt ceiling, the short's will cover, and the stock market will soar. SLW has a huge correlation with SPY.

As a two term Viet Nam era Veteran, I like debate. I just think now is not the time for a deflation depression. Mr. Limbaugh, your hero, refused to serve during the Viet Nam era and has no children.

What kind of rile's me, as an investor, is that Mr. Beck promote's goldline as one of his advertiser's, and yet the the tea party of what he and most of talk radio represent's, will cause serious deflation and higher unemployment. Make your own conclusion's.

You may be right, I am just saying I would be 100% in cash if the tea party would be 100% in control short term. I am an ira account trader, politic's aside.
