May 10 - Q1 conference - old hands have any thoughts?
Silver Wheaton to release 2013 first quarter results on May 10, 2013...
Would appreciate commentary from any older dogs with SLW that have experienced these conferences and what happens after a relatively severe change in Silver Price (down). Is SLW good at giving realistic signals , and also rallying the faithful?
What do you think the guidance will be?
If the price of Ag sticks around $24 / oz will this likely be low enough to begin a down-turn in supply from the miners that SLW has contracted with?
Can SLW survive and thrive in the $24/oz price range? (Seems like they can, but the costs of mining have risen significantly in the last 4 years also, I understand.)
At what price of Ag would the SLW approach break-even (not paying dividends)? Anybody have a defendable guess?
Any particular reasons for optimism if $24/oz should be the "new normal"?
