Why ? Makes no sense to short a stock that has an innate value of 30+ when it is selling for 22 and change.
Day trade. 20 to 30 % in half a day sometimes if one gets it right.
actually, it just closed above the 200DMA (22.51) today so if it holds/confirms, I'm buying and getting long.
I just shorted a little and went long silver
I have a long term buy and hold strategy with SLW, but given the recent history shorting here may not be a bad idea. Currently trading $0.02 from the 200 SMA, so I expect a down turn going into the closing bell.
buy puts rather than shorting to limit loss if stock runs up even higher
