Some of the questions that remain for Navigant
are how well it can put together acquisitions going
forward and how much of them they will need to write
off.
Because they already have the major part of a national
network of offices and services put together, they may
find significant overlap with agencies that they
acquire going forward. At this point we have been told
that they have several good prospects for acquisitions
with offers either on the table or being negotiated.
What we don't know are the details of these
acquisitions other than the range of cost/sales and a few
other general guidance. I may try to contact the
company to find out more detials - but they are likely to
be reluctant to discuss anything to do with ongoing
negotiations unless it is a "done deal".
Navigant is
continuing to set up a base and probably won't move much
until announcements are made about acquisitions or
major Internet deals or site openings.
What the
heck - let's hope sopme people get nervous or tired of
waiting and sell the stock. There are other fish to fry -
but this catch is worth holding onto.
