    IGD consistency?

This is our next to largest holding and have owned it since 28 Jun 07. It has always paid us .156 per share. I do not care for the fund doing 50% ROC. We intend keeping this fund and feel certain the distribution will improve. Good luck.

    • jp...I'm not an expert on any of this...just someone trying to invest hard earned dollars and trying to make a reasonable return, like many here...I looked over at Madison Claymore and see that the fund is up to around $7.73 or thereabouts (it looks like it touched low $4's in Mar)...if you are committed to tucking stuff like this away for the long haul its merely a blip on the radar in the grand scheme of things...

as I look back on the ING stuff I owned last year I wish to the All Mighty that I had bought more in Nov-Dec during the crash as opposed to selling (fear makes you sell instead of buy when the sky is falling)...shares have bounced back 60%+ since then...some, more than that, within the ING Family...you gotta buy cheap shares to get your cost average down and your Yield up (even though MC cut from .28c to .18c)...thats what is referred to as cost averaging...I'm sure you know that...

I'm not touting or selling anything here...we've all been burned one way or another in this market...I'll bet you a buck to a cup of spit that by this time next year MC is higher then than it is today (barring another world wide economic crisis like Q408)...you might well wished you kept it imho...

the other thing I like about IGD/IGA/IAE is that through the toughest of markets (Q308-Q209) they never missed a beat div wise and the pps of their funds has risen to boot (also see IRR and IID)...in anyones book that is a sign of strength...glta!

Do your own DD and do not take financial advice from people on public message boards...glta!

    • walsing...you have a nice tailwind at your back...you are 3 yrs away from having your shares fully paid for and your cost average moving to Zero...approx 5 yr payback on these funds provided nothing drastic takes place and mgmt continues to do stellar work in tough economic times...glta!
