Why in the world would anyone buy cedar fair now, after they dished out their dividend yesterday to those on record 10 days ago? i made some nice cash on this one going into march and up to the record date in mid march. but now, i wouldn't touch this name with jim cramer's counterfiet money, lol! there's a time to wait, and this is the very time. turn on a good ball game, go for a nice walk with your dog, or take a walk down the beach with your sweetheart....but it's spring you-all! relax, and repeat the rewards of discipline of knowing when not to trade or buy anything.

    • I totally agree!!! I have traded this stock for years, and this is not the time to buy this paper. The hint is in the news. Today they're doing a parade lap waving the "Look, we have now booked this season's ticket sa les and see solid ticket sales so far". When you having the one thing that the stock is trading in anticipation of up to April 1st being broadcasted in the form of news and press releases, then you need a new anticipatory something to drive the shares higher. With season ticket sales being 99% of this company's business, there reason is nothing further to make the stock move higher. With the slack prior quarters there surely won't be a dividend increase for at least another couple years. I bought this name when it was at $28 and $32.40/share and the news was circulating that an increase in dividend was coming. Now it's an old story and the price has moved. Very little meat left on this turkey drum stick. Let's see what else is out there in the days to come where the news isn't already in the stock. Happy Hunting fellow dividend hunters! -thebookstar1
