history will show this to have been the greatest buying opportunity in the reit market since the beginning of time; accumulate now, enjoy the divvies, more shares, more income, more shares, on and on... double value every 3.5 yrs or so right up to retirement and by then you will have an income stream that will be the envy of all your friends
I love this play. Compared to my other major holdings this one is the safest.
Yes, the safest. I have to Junior Gold Miners (KRY and NSU), which have been crushed by market mechanics and High Political risk. My other is a little known Tech stock called Stathcom Technologies (STCA.ob) It's a software company with great potential in the telecom/cable and wireless video arena.
If one hits I will be happy. If two hit, I will be dilerious. If all 3 hit, then I will be living off of NRO monthlies the rest of my life!
Note: I am 38 years old. I still feel I have time to gamble for that early retirement.
I, bought this stock NRO, in July,18, 08 and they have not yet payed me, they say that the stock that I bought, was a default, and I have to elect every mounth, to get payed on my dividents other wise it will be reinvested in to the stock, like drips but I do not wanted to reinvest in to my shares I wanted to get payed in cash. What should I do now? Thank you A.B.
I hope NRO is accumulating NRF. Why? It has a 19.80% dividend yield, quality management that is buying back its CDOs for pennies on the dollar, a quality portfolio of CMBS assets, and positive cash flow. Additionally, CMBS spreads continue to fall. This indicates that money is flowing toward NRF’s underlying assets - just a matter of time before this trend in capital flows is reflected in the price.
I just turned 65 yesterday,July 23rd,but I retired at 56 from a permanent disability.I was happy to see today's loss of 57 cents as NRO lately has been going up too fast.I too continue to accumulate shares as the dividends help with my Social Security Disability.
