Year End Distribution
Take the increase in value of Reits Pfd's this year. couple that amount with the leverage that NRO is running and take their meager monthly D and what you get is be plenty of year available gains/income for holders,

Anyone care to chime on on what the year end amount might be.

  Did a little calculating, for the fund's holdings, total year end divi's total ~ 17,300,000. Divided by the ~66,000,000 shares outstanding, and you come up with $0.262 / share. The fund's total per share payout (Nov 1st 2008 - Oct 31st 2009) was $0.596 / share.
  
  Math just doesn't add up to an extra payout in December.

  Total loss was $512,000,000 last year. Couple that with the over 10,000,000 shares bought back this year and I am guessing we will not see a annual divi for '09. I hate to be a naysayer but I just try to stick with the facts.
