What is a split going to do for you? Absolutely nothing! I don't care whether the price goes to a $100 or $200 or $500 or $1000. Have you ever heard of a little stock called Berkshire Hathaway? Check out the price. It has never split, and that doesn't seem to have hurt the stock the least little bit. What's the difference between a hundred dollar bill and two fifty dollar bills? Are the two fifties worth more than the C-note? Nope. Furthermore, BRK has never paid a dividend, but that's another subject. Sorry, but I think splits are infantile and meaningless.
I see your point but in my opinion, keeping a stock at a decent price opens the stock up to more buyers. More people buying also means higher prices. But I also know that means more shares which could also lower the prices. Historically, CB usually splits at 100. If they announce, that would probably cause a nice spike also. IMO.
