    • How many people watch this list? Impossible to
say. Not many, if you go by the number of posts. But
there may be a lot of lurkers in the bushes. Is the
company worth watching? I've been watching it since 1990
without ever buying. There were opportunities to make
money, but I didn't take them. It went to 13+ last year
before getting zapped by the bear market. I think its
rise was interrupted prematurely and it will go higher
next year. No expertise in the matter, just my
peculiar thinking. From the chart, I think it has a very
good base for a significant rise. I'm not into it very
heavily because I'm out of money.

    • The quarterly results are excellent. The year looks great. Why isn't this stock moving up? Do very many people watch this message list?

    • <<Never had the problem you described. Good
      luck on it though.>>

      Thanks. I got rid of
my old Bookmark, created a new one, and the problem
was solved. A glitch somewhere, I guess.

    • Never had the problem you described. Good luck on it though.

    • I agree this is excellent performance. And this
US Army Land Warrior project seems to be big. So
call me a novice but can anynone tell me why is this
stock still hangung down in the 6's? Thought this news
would have shot it up to between 8 and 10 by now.

    • Don't want to beat this dead horse to death. Just
thought I would add that I just now found out that by
going to a message and clicking on LIST, I can now get
a full list, just can't get the full list when I
click on my BOOKMARK. Any suggestions? Make myself a
      new BOOKMARK?

    • My list of messages only goes up to #41. The
messages after that are here, of course, but I can only
get them by asking for the specific message I
      want.

I e-mailed Yahoo!! about my problem, and they
replied that they couldn't replicate it so assumed
everything must be okay. Well, my computer isn't the
      greatest, so who knows?

      Does anyone else have this
problem, or is it only me?

      Loy Knapp

    • When I tried to post the previous message, two others jumped in front of it, so now it probably looks ridiculous. But I don't mind.

    • EXPO had a fantastic 99Q3 earnings report. The
company is buying back its own shares, and a wise move
since they are selling at a significant discount
relative to book value!! This stock is going to be a mover
      in the coming months.

      Some highlights showing the tremendous

the second quarter of this year, the Company has
reported revenues net of billings for pass-through work
      and expenses.

related to the sale of a subsidiary). Including the tax
benefit, income from continuing operations for the first
nine months of 1998 was $3,463,000, or $0.44 per
      share.

      ...
      Mr. Gaulke concluded, "With our
strong balance sheet and significantly improved
financial performance, we continue to believe the
repurchase of our common stock is a sound investment."
Through the first nine months of 1999, Exponent has
bought back 645,700 common shares for $3, 877,000. As of

      $59,536,000, or $8.80 per share.

    • EXPO currently has a PE of 9.0 and is trading below book value.
It is truly a bargain stock and ripe for takeover.
