revenue next quarter and profit from initial shelf space on Kombucha confirms Reed announcing number 2 brand behind GT Synergy which has been around since 1995. Since Reed introduction the brand has doubled initial offerings which should increase sales by some 50% in Kombucha. Revenue is greatly expanding the question is can Reed capacity to manufacture continue with upward sales trends?
Two dominant natural stores..whole foods and its comptetition do not have Reeds K yet.
Health stores have it and are priced at 3.59 & 3.19...same as GT. The local k brands are each priced above GT & Reeds...from 3.69 - 3.99.
Shelf space: GT has 1.5 rows....rest of the 3 local brands 1.5 rows among themselves. REEDs K 1/4 space..with Only 3 flavors...for over three days...Goji flavor have not been replinished...so maybe production/capacity limitations. Also For now REEDS has the least flavor varitety.
Reeds is ramping production for K and have added flavors but so far it has not hit the main natural stores locally...and the health/co-op stores have limited shelf space and flavors displayed.
