Nice account "pro". Why don't you tell your faithful following how many shares you've dumped in the last 30 days? You've got some people in your company who really hate your guts. Care to see a screen shot? Send me your email.
Keep pumping. SEC needs more evidence.
Just lead your chickens on few more weeks and you'll be home free while your pied-piper following wonders where you went.
migrow, julob, stockwhatever, SBG, Pro4_suckers thanks you in advance! When the stock hits $0.70 and there is a major pull back, you'll know who's dumping the last of their stock!
Personally I'm buying another 5k (17 bonds). I agree that the market is mispricing kodak as a whole. I am hoping to make 4-5x my investment in the next month or so. But I am in a safer vehicle where a 1 billion dollar auction will wake people up and I can achieve my goal.
Still hoping for a over 5 billion auction where my convertibles will kick in and make me over par value. But wont be devistated if it doesnt happen.
"These patents are much more valuable than the Nortel patents as they are NOT FRAND encumbered, plus the fact that these patents are specific to digital images which is a KEY component to ALL smartphones, Tablets, and social networking."
So without Kodak patents no one would be able to display or transmit digital images?
How many Kodak patents are licensed to the iPhone developer?
Since the Nortel patents things have gotten allot more heated, and allot more tight. The strategic value is worth at least 2 times as the Nortel patents IMO.
There is a 2.5 Billion dollar suit going on RIGHT NOW between Apple and Samsung- opposing bidders to this auction.
These patents are much more valuable than the Nortel patents as they are NOT FRAND encumbered, plus the fact that these patents are specific to digital images which is a KEY component to ALL smartphones, Tablets, and social networking. Nortal patents were all over the road applied to who knows how many industries.
Thanks for the heads up, I am going to hold my shares and wait for the results of the sale.
We will know who was right next Monday.
Every fiber in me says my gut is right, and Wall Street doesn't have the foresight to see it because EK has been beat down so long, they don't expect them to come out of this.
We will all see Monday.
You are aware that the nortel patents were sold for 4.5 billion. That means that the people that pulled out, 2-3 billion is alot of money.
You sound like the customers that come into my store and want me to pay more for merchandise than its worth claiming "you have money, man"
Yes I have money buy if I gave it away for every piece of garbage (not saying kodak is selling garbage, you know Im deep in the bonds) then I would be dead broke.
Same applies to apple and google, why do you think they did not buy the nortel patents out right. We both know that apple had the money to do it by themselves, and the patents of nortel only sold for 4.5 billion.
I'm just trying to show you the other side of the coin, I think 5-6-7 billion is absurd.
And there can be arguements made that the portfolio's can be worth 10 billion. But why would that happen when the Laura Q (whats her position cheif IP officer or something) claimed that 6 billion can be made with the portfolio in the next 4-5 years. Think about it.
"Do I need to go on, tired of digging up facts from the recesses of my mind."
A daunting task,indeed.
I appreciate the suggestion, but I am all in on this one.
I cant find any reason why these patents don't bring huge money.
1) Apple tried every dirty trick in the book to steal these patents.
2) The tried to have the patents considered invalid, then claimed they owned them.
3) The asserted the ownership of 9 other patents.
4) Tried to delay the sale by having the jurisdiction moved to District Court.
5) They are sitting on $117 Billion in cash, yet they need a partner to share in the cost.
6) They are in one of the biggest patent suits right now with the other side Samsung, going on at this very moment.
7) Apple stole the Nortel patents out from Android last time, and Android cant afford to lose these patents.
8) These patents are NOT FRAND encumbered.
9) NOT 1 company had a Tablet License from Kodak, and now Tablets are the fastest growing segment in 2012, I will bump my post from last week, where the numbers were revised huge from the beginning of the year for total units to be sold this year.
Do I need to go on, tired of digging up facts from the recesses of my mind.
I do agree, but ppl need to understand the differance; licensing rights means you dont have to "pay rent."
Ownership rights means you have the right to exclude and/or "charge rent"
I dont think SBG understands the difference and I was atempting to explain.
