    Free & Clear

If we have no news come Monday August 13, 2012, we can assume the sale is proceeding as schedule.

Google or whomever wins the bid will have the DI patents "free & clear".

The bashers will point out that you can overrule Judge Gropper's decision but BK Court decisions have proven to be very powerful rulings. If that was not the case, business would forever be in legal disputes with no final resolution.

    FINAL HEARING RE:
Motion conditionally authorizing the sale of patent assets free and clear of claims and interests, establishing a competitive bidding process and approving the notice procedures and authorizing the sale of patent assets free and clear of claims and interests.

    • Jughead - Nice prediction LOSER - HAHAHA!!!
Still waiting on pennies from heaven but all you keep getting is falling turkeys!
You got any other predictions that you made 3 months ago that came through? Thought NOT!
Remember where you heard it first - this PPS is going to ZERO!
I love shoving your #$%$ posts back in your face - keep those LOSER predictions coming!
What a TOTAL LOSER you are!
BTW LOSER, I am reviewing my posting history trying to find a prediction I made that did NOT come to fruition but I can't find a SINGLE ONE. Can you help me by reviewing my post history and see if you can find JUST ONE - I hate being RIGHT 100% of the time - HAHAHA!!!

    • The Players now know that this is for real. How much time from the Court Date of December 3, 2012 is not known at this time.

Since Samsung & LG are paying license fees to EK, the outcome is yet to be determine but $525 million is a bit short.

    • saved by the bell....

    • Go Google.....

and rest of the Android members. It's now or never!

    • Longs, there got to be 2 bidders still on the table.

If not, EK would have to declare a winner before 5PM.

Its a winner take all situation, and lets see if Google comes up with its gloves on.

    • OK. point made and understood. Someone other than Kodak will own some (maybe most) of the patents in play by end of day. Don't, however, forget that the "winner" in the auction may end up not paying as much as many of you "analysts" are predicting.

Result..... a walk down barber shop lane at the turn of the century.... a lot of blood letting!

    • I think this will give Google the chance to own the patents free & clear.

    • >>>"The bashers will point out that you can overrule Judge Gropper's decision but BK Court decisions have proven to be very powerful rulings. If that was not the case, business would forever be in legal disputes with no final resolution."<<<

      Sports, Well said!

      >>>"Google or whomever wins the bid will have the DI patents "free & clear".<<<

Apple will try to get some of the dough, for the 8 patents still in dispute, but that will prove to be just another BS legal tactic that was dreamed up by Steve Jobs..... Just like trying to cure his cancer by eating seeds and berries....

MAGICAL THINKING does NOT change reality.

Hard work and inspiration sometimes produces things.

But LIES will quickly be proven in a court of LAW for what they are.

Steve Jobs LIED to himself and others, if he thought there was some inkling of winning.
