I hear what your saying. I'm not going to disagree with you regarding the auction. However, perhaps there is more interest in spending the money that kodak was seeking for the ip but for the whole enchilada. It matters not to us longs how Kodak gets out of deep water just as long as they do it and it is profitable for us.
Agreed. IMO this is Plan B. Kodak appears to have entered into BK to receive BK court protections while marketing it's IP. Appears they were hoping to receive enough cash to pay off debt, but it may not have happened, and so they may be reduced to selling the entire company instead. Just my opinion.
If there is anything of value in Kodak it would be cheaper to pick the bones of the carcass rather than buying the whole thing. I just can't see anybody buying the whole company. Look at all the problems/liabilities that come with it!
