If a company tells you up front, "We plan to cancel this stock" get out as quick as you can. Nothing is left to do, but SELL. I am amazed that fools was stupid enough to continue buying Kodak stock. This has got to be the dumbest event that I can remember witnessing in 30 years of investing.
Hard to explain that type of lunacy. They really thought they were the only ones who knew something nobody else did. If that happens it is wise to go back and look things over again because the reality is you are the one who is missing the obvious. I wonder what the kool aid flavor was they were all drinking ?
Well by definition 50% of people are below average. I think the bottom 10% were the heavy rollers here. I can understand some pre-CH11 people who held out, as they might have been hoping for some sort of settlement. The people that were loading up, especially in the final days, were just flat out stupid. There were a couple on the nuts board bragging "yeah, I bought another 10,000 shares today. I'm going to be so rich!". That was a late as a week ago. These people should be put under a 72 hour psych watch.
