I've been watching this company/stock for a couple of months and am intrigued by the long-term possibilities. However, CEO Miller seems to be held in very low regard by many which begs the question: If he really is an impediment rather than an asset, why would very smart people like Pickens and Ross back him? If he's a puppet CEO who they can strong-arm, that's a lesser of two evils IMO.
Pickens sold all his shares in XCO, is that a vote of confidence in Miller? Miller has demostrated a lack of vision. Two years ago while othe other oil and gas companies where becoming oily, Miller continued his his nat gas course. This qtr he states "we are a nat gas company". Why didn't he state this two years ago that XCO would stay only a nat gas company?
