    Nanotechnology

    CEG board of directors include:
Mark Frost, Albany Molecular Research Inc.

CEG hosted the SmartStart Venture Forum; introducing the Regional Development Compact, which has already been adopted by 12 communities; opening a West Coast satellite office known as Tech Valley West; hosting the fifth annual Albany Symposium, which attracted more than 300 nanotechnology industry leaders to Bolton Landing.

    Coincidence I think maybe not!!!!!!!

    • From December 5 Chemical & Engineering News:

By 2014 Nanotechnology products will be worth $2.6 trillion. Even with 10% of that AMRI would be a very valuable company. I wonder which (if any) of the 300 Nanotechnology companies Dr. D'Ambra is interested in????

    • How will Albany Molecular be getting involved with nanotechnology?

The company is a fun stock to own. I consider it a long term option on drug R&D.

Similar companies are smaller and weaker. Even the big drug companies are downsizing. Albany Molecular seems perfectly positioned for the current state of the drug industry.

Negative posters have been quiet. Why?

      • Once again, the only difference between AMRI and its competitors is Allegra.
AMRI submits very very agressive bids that boost the earnings incredibly (double digit growth), loses money on these contracts, but remains profitable (barely) thanks to Allegra.
No other company in AMRI's line of business benefits from this kind of lifesaver
The Allegra money should be used for internal R&D, that would transform AMRI into a "real" pharma and then only would make AMRI a long term option in R&D IMHO.
It is a shame that this money is being used to artificially sustain AMRI's financials in the green, and the management in its position....

    • it's I-DONT-KNOW-Technology in your case.
