I have been doing some research on WDDD and I think you may be right. It seems that between WOW and COD the revenues approach $4b annually. I think one could argue the EMV rule applies here and therefore that could potentially be used as the revenue base. Because the 3D architecture and scalability is so intrinsic in the MMORPG space I think the apportionment number will be higher than VRNG's (20%) as well. Lastly, Sussman Godfrey, counsel for Worlds, is claiming that the infringement is willful. This is another difference from the VRNG case. Could easily see this approaching a dollar leading up to Markman. Anyway, I will have a much more detailed breakdown of this case in the next several weeks and yes, our group will be attending the Markman and trial if it comes to that.
1 million shares edvacourt. Today was 10 x's the normal volume with a 2 cent move.
DR didn't even do that to Vringo yesterday or today with his "credibibility".
I think if investors slowly add to thier positions in WDDD a gradual and realistic upswing in the PPS will establish as well as a trading pattern for short term profit exits without MM beating down the PPS.
Have to watch these MM and the spread. I am going to place small block buys between the bid and ask and wait for them to fill at the end of the day or a down move. MM live on inventoried shares - we need to identify the MM and qualify if they are selling from thier house account to investors. I am going to look into it this weekend for Monday.
Have a tremendous weekend. Thanks for sticking to your guns as ncbeltwaybound is - everyone has a take and someone is always correct or incorrect...how PC was that.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
Really enjoy your posts.
This does look like a very attractive stock but as i learned with vrng the swings on this could get wild. I will watch closely but would prefer to get in a little lower than the current .23. I will keep on my radar. Thanks.
For whatever reason Ed is not disclosing the fact that they lost the same case vs NCSoft in 2010 and they can't even afford the lawyer and are working on Contigency. So basically when the Lawyer gets tired of battling a 12 Billion Dollar behemoth known as Activision Blizzard everybody folds their tent and escapes into the Arabian Nights. That leaves stockholders with air. I'm not making this up and I have no Axe to grind with Ed. I actually enjoyed his comments during the VRNG trial.
Sentiment: Strong Sell
