Back in the old days, the board seemed to like to keep the share price in the 40-60 range, and would split the shares when they go near triple digits. Although a split doesn't change the value, it would actually help me, and I can't see any reason why they would change their mind on where they want the per share price to trade.
Does anyone know if there has been a conscience decision to let the stock trade higher, or whether there is any thought of splitting?
I've owned Celgene since '96.Although I don't know the actual reason why,it seems that splits are less popular in financial circles than they used to be. Would be interested as to what others perceive.
