Mmm, the link doesn't seem to work as is.
To go to the web page, you need to copy the guid (the part with the braces), then click the link, then supply the guid directly.
Well, seems a little cumbersome. but it does contain some very good infromation.
I'll try to see if I can get a more direct way to get to the page.
Here is a link about a recent report by Infonetics regarding backhaul market size and trends ....
Especially note that:
"In the last 6 months there has been a shift in the mobile backhaul market, with a surge in spending on Ethernet microwave in North America..."
Sounds very good to me!
Market size? Haven't checked any of the analyst egghead reports lately, but in recent years I recall the licensed digital microwave radio market was on the order $4B - $5B USD and growing. US maybe 10% of that or a bit less YTY.
Hey, Maggie. How the hell are you? Good I hope.
At these prices I'm tempted to buy back in beyond my current holdings.
As the longest long here ever, I think there is excellent upside yet again.
Long since forever, CGN39.
Yes, today's news is kinda good, but not very good. You know, margin for this type of deal is a bit on the low side.
Instead, I have been waiting for an even better news -- that a tier-1 operator in the U.S. (VZ, T etc) announces a deal with Ceragon. And when that happens, I'll pop a champagne to celebrate.
FYI, TATA market cap $60B, VZ market cap $80B.
They are similar in size but India needs a whole lot more backhaul than US does!
Yes, margins might be a bit lower, but the volume of shipments should make up for it!
If there is some form of exclusivity involved, this is without a doubt the biggest win for CRNT in several years.
