    As a Marine.....

....(honorably discharged) I can tell you my brothers will drop whatever is interfering with their ability to complete a mission - to include a piece of gear which may protect their life. The government; however, will never be caught with their pants down again regarding this issue in this conflict. The US government could care less if these things pile up and turn into a mosque. During an election year especially, NOT ONE POLITICIAN is going to be caught voting "No" on a piece of gear which the public views as critical in protecting our troops. CRDN will most likely drop again on Monday, but I can assure you, the revenues and earnings will continue to stream in and pile up like the body armor. I would continue to buy CRDN on drops before the next earnings release cuz this post WILL be confirmed.

    • " Can't expect everyone to understand I suppose."

      That's correct, for two reasons.

      1) Not many on this board have worn the stuff in training or combat, so have no concept of how restrictive, hot, and otherwise uncomfortable (in most situations) it can be.

      2) The lunatic fringe shorts will continue to hype ANY negative news whatsoever that might dampen enthusiasm for the stock.

      Don't let them get you down. : - )

    • <<These reports you're reading will in no way influence current or future orders - PERIOD.>>

And then there is the vehicle armor opportunity, which is larger than that for body armor.

    • " an Army Industry Day on March 7, 2006, the Army projected, subject to congressional approval, future additional E-SAPI orders of in excess of 500,000 sets, which would replace all previously fielded early SAPI (not E-SAPI) shipments, thus providing the U.S. Army a "Pure Fleet" of E-SAPI."

It would seem side-plates, given not in guidance(earnings >$3/share), that many will still be needed(of 891,000), and the potential of ESAPI, is relatively insignificant.

    • "During an election year especially, NOT ONE POLITICIAN is going to be caught voting "No" on a piece of gear which the public views as critical in protecting our troops."

Sa stated in the article, the will of the American electorate must be protected:

"Many Marines, however, believe the politics of the issue eventually will make the plates mandatory."

Those in the most hostile jobs also use the inserts, and we know the chaos in Iraq is becoming more intense:

"Some Marines have chosen to wear the plates, particularly those in more vulnerable jobs such as Humvees turret gunners or those who frequently travel on roads plagued by roadside bombs.""
