Here is a quote from your buddy over at JSA Research, Peter Arment from back in late May when he initiated coverage of CRDN with a "Sell" when the stock was trading 44.98
A very cheery fellow over the phone, but someone that has never worked for anyone else besides Mr. Nisbet at JSA Research over the last 12 years . . . straight out of the Univ. of Rhode Island with a BS in Economics and not even an MBA or any work experience with a top-tier investment bank:
"Firm expects this to result in a decline for the next three years with earnings going from $3.71 in 2006 to $1.00 in 2009. Firm believes CRDN will miss consensus numbers in the back half of 2006 and fail to come close the flat 2007 full year guidance . . ."
Gee, he must be the most INCREDIBLE analyst ever to be able to come up with a 2009 EPS estimate of $1.00
I guess he has his head stuck in the sand so deep back there in Rhode Island that he assumes that CRDN only makes personal body armor plates, will do absolutely no business whatsoever with the likes of AM General in an effort to armor-up the M1152 HMMWV or any other military vehicle ( or aircrew compartment ) for that matter, let alone will never make another acquisition or be involved in numerous industrial ceramic and powder applications from nuclear waste containment to aluminum smelters.
How naive this chap is. And so are you for defending him.
Keep posting as many times as you can. You might actually be able to convince yourself that you and Mr. Arment are right.
