    Seminole Hard Rock 1st Impressions

    Greetings All:

My father and I went to the Hard Rock in Hollywood, FL this evening (a Thursday). Here are my first impressions.

    1) The facility is not a rinky dink Indian casino, it is a first class physical plant.

    2) The parking lot was crowded, as as the casino floor. The restaurants, however, did not appear that crowded.

    3) The clientele was fairly upscale.

    4) They are not keeping the facility smoke-free, which is contrary to the Florida law. Some may find that quite disturbing. . I was getting allergy symptoms.

    5) They are lining up some good musical entertainment, if you are into the rock genre.

All in all, this seems to be a nice facility. How it will impact RANKY's bottom line has yet to be seen, but my impressions suggest it will be positive.

If this sucker gets back to the 10 range. . I may add to my position.

    Best to all,

    Howie

    • Just how large is the complex? What are the limits to gaming? For example here in the Blackhawk market there is a $5 limit, and most casinos are around 600-1000 machines. Table games here are the lost leaders due to the low limits. Is there a Hard Rock cafe in the casino? Before all US cafe were Company owned. Is that the same for the Indian ones? Will this and the other casino down there fall under the Hard Rock division or Casino division? Thank you for what ever info you know. I to will be adding more shares if the stock drops to below $10.

This fall I'm going to take a trip to Canada. I how to be able to hit all five there plus the us falls side. If anyone has any must see
places in the area I would be glad to hear about them.

      Blessed be the longs.

I cannot answer your questions. They are not on the website. There was a Hard Rock onsite.

I will keep you posted if there is anything written in the local papers assessing their performance.

Meanwhile, I fail to understand how a 3,000 share day can drive the stock price down over a dollar. The thin trading of this stock does not inspire a lot of confidence in management's ability to "sell" the company.

Rumor has it that Mirage and Mandalay will have to give up properties to avoid owning more than 50 percent of the Vegas market. I wonder if RANKYwould try to move in.

        Best,

        Howie
