quicksilver CC: BIG praise for Gasfrac

No some formations are too water sensitive and they use oil to frac. This is even more expensive than LPG fracking and apparently doesn't work as well.

So far I have seen no evidence that Gasfrac can compete with water fracking except in areas where there is no water.

The fact that oil was compared to propane and water WASN"T even in the picture is the conclusive evidence that propane competes with (beats) water in this formation at least.

What we are establishing is that propane is much better in certain formations.

What we would love is that propane is proven to be yield better economics in all formation.

Once the availability and cost structures between the two techniques are leveled - a combination of economies of scale/recycling on the propane side and disposal/flowback treatment on the water side - then Gasfrac should really start to run.
