Magnum Hunter initiated with a Buy at Global Hunter

Gary Evans is on the Board of Global Hunter - and pretty much every other company with the name "Hunter" in it. Good lord, what a scam.

Is that the best he could do to try and pop this stock? Initiate coverage on his OWN COMPANY (rated as a "buy" of course)?

      • Chairman & CEO, Magnum Hunter Resources, previously known as Hunter Resources

Chairman & CEO, Greenhunter Energy, now "GreenHunter Water"

Formed WindHunter Energy, which was "acquired" by GreenHunter Energy

Principal, Global Hunter Holdings, LP, the parent company of Global Hunter Securities (who just initiated with the buy rating)

        It's all here:

And I am not short this stock - I was long... Until yesterday. As far as I am concerned, MHR is an asset play, and nothing more. I think it may eventually be acquired by another company, but I'm not waiting it out. The bigger fish (Continental, Kodiak, Whiting, etc.) are going to get snapped up first - the best hope for MHR is if one of those guys buys them before THEY get taken over. But I'm not holding my breath.

Plus, I see oil going back down to the high $70s within the next month or two. It'll go back up eventually, though. I wish you guys luck, I really do.
