"While recent deal losses in Japan and the U.K. were disappointing, the company remains well positioned for international expansion as evidenced by wins in Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, New Zealand, and Brazil," wrote Goldman Sachs analyst Simona Jankowski in a report.
"The pipeline/market opportunity remains large. We believe Silver Spring has built a substantial backlog for 2014 based on announced customer wins," Jankowski said.
