Yes, IF clwr gives me the same make whole arrangement S gave mr mccaw... Otherwise I'll vote NO. So NO it will be. Btw, wonder what would happen if Dish made a counter offer for clwr... Say at 5:50 a share... Wouldn't that be interesting..
At this time, I'll vote no. If the no's prevail, with no counter offer by S-SB, then Bk is probable with clwr's spectrum going on the market to pay debt with what's left over to stockholders. IMO the "leftover" is better terms than what S-SB has offered.
Clearwire owes $6.4B in debt which includes spectrum leasing payments. As stated by CLWR’s SEC filings … ‘But suffice it to say that the value attributed to our spectrum was also well below recent speculation.’ … meaning a 21 cents /MHz/POP was the market value for its spectrum.
In a bankruptcy settlement, after the IRS gets theirs next in line will be the first lien creditors for theirs, followed by payrolls for employees (back pay and severance pay). It is only at the end that shareholders get any slices that are left. Hoping for a bankruptcy is idiotic and the worst outcome for shareholers
