question If I hold tell the sprint deal goes through
does my brokerage charge a fee when the shares are bought? I use td ameritrade thanks I am just wondering because I had read there is a 15-25$ fee...and before everyone goes all uncle tom on me just relax
I have both a full service broker and TD Ameritrade; my experience is a full service broker will not charge you anything while TD specifically will charge you something. That has been my experience with M&A for both full serve and web brokers; of course for the commissions I pay to full service, they better do it for free!
If you don't vote then yours is considered a no vote. If another higher offer comes in you can get more than $5 a share. If Sprint wins and Clearwire goes private a check for $5 per share for your shares in your account credit your account. Sprint pays the cost. If in doubt check with your broker to find out their policy.
